OUR PROCESS
OUR FIVE (5) POINT APPROACH FOCUSES ON RELATIONSHIPS, EXPERIENCES AND SPACES THAT LAST.
It is imperative to begin with a thorough overview of what our client is hoping to achieve. By identifying and understanding the needs, aspirations and objectives of our client we can proceed to craft a strategy that not only targets these specific goals but generates direction for the project.
A dynamic process facilitated through rigorous research and testing. This process is supported by a range of visualization strategies and conceptual exploration resulting in an initial scheme that embodies core project ideas.
This is an opportunity to develop schematic concepts into buildable solutions through documentation and the development of a comprehensive set of design drawings.
A critical step in realizing the project, we identify potential complexities and engage our sub-consultants as part of a collaborative process of refinement.
Once the design has been finalized and coordination complete we will shepherd the approvals process and communicate directly with Municipal staff and relevant parties.
From simple Permit Applications to complex Zoning Amendments and Re Zoning Approvals we are able to facilitate this process and ensure favorable outcomes.
We can provide in house Interior Design, detailed Millwork Drawings and Specifications. We also work with Interior Design Consultants and provide Architectural support for coordination / installation.
Regardless of the arrangement, we prefer to be involved in the process as it is critical to the success of the final build. We can tailor our services based on the specific needs of the project.
Once Approvals have been issued, drawings are reviewed with the selected builder and any adjustments, clarifications, specifications etc are integrated into a Construction Drawing set. This is then tracked through construction and used to document the Build process through regular Site visits.
Any changes / adjustments are captured through this process and carefully reviewed prior to execution. The end result serves as a record of the construction process and complete documentation to support the finished build.
